I decided to switch to Streamlabs OBS for more features, interaction, overlays, etc. I use a 21:9 (3440x1440) monitor and I'm absolutely fine with my stream being letterbox. I've always used regular ol' OBS for streaming. I know the title may be confusing so bear with me.
